An interaction program on vocational training and employment opportunities for persons with Physical Disabilities.

On December 13, 2019, VOICE conducted an interaction program on vocational training and employment opportunities for PWD. In this program, several stakeholders from governmental and non-governmental agencies were invited.  The program was organized aiming to create opportunities for PWD. Also, one of the goals was to lobby for developing a vocational training curriculum focusing on spinal cord injury from CTEVT and special provision for skill testing at CTEVT too. In total 40 participated (including SIRC and VOICE staff) in the program and had an open discussion about economic development, policy and entrepreneurship, market management, criteria for eligibility and certification for PWD`s for skill testing at NSTB.
