SIRC’s Training and Capacity Building program is focused on enhancing the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals, caregivers, and individuals living with spinal cord injuries. Through hands-on training for health workers, SIRC ensures that frontline workers are equipped with practical skills for managing spinal cord injuries and related health issues. The organization offers specialized neuro rehabilitation training for nurses, helping them provide optimal care and rehabilitation to patients. SIRC also facilitates peer group training, creating a supportive learning environment for individuals with similar experiences to share knowledge and strategies. Additionally, caregivers receive dedicated training to better support their loved ones, while nurses are provided with ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices. The program includes Continuing Medical Education (CME) for staff, ensuring that they remain well-informed and capable of delivering the highest quality care. Through these diverse training opportunities, SIRC strengthens the capacity of the community to provide better care and support for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
