Bishal Sunar is a 15 years old schoolboy. He comes from a remote village with a small sister in Pyuthan District. Life was going on well for Bishal and his family until he sustained spinal cord injury due to a fall from one storeyed house. Bishal went upstairs to light on the bulb in the evening time and fell down. Immediately after the incident, he was taken to a private hospital in Butwal but he was referred to Kathmandu for further management. Bishal was taken to National Trauma center where he was surgically managed. Bishal has been referred to our center for comprehensive rehabilitation. Bishal’s father came to depression and committed suicide after one month of his accident.

Bishal’s mother finished all the money which they brought with them as a donation from the village. Everybody could see Bishal’s mother crying every day at the Centre. To support them, SIRC provided full financial coverage for his rehabilitation for bed, food, rehabilitation, wheelchair and medicine.
